Character Overview

Pros

  • Extremely versatile for Lunar-Crystallize teams, providing off-field damage, teamwide healing, Elemental Resistance (RES) Shred, and Elemental Mastery (EM) buffs.
  • Has flexible rotation lengths, along with varying field time depending on playstyle.
  • Has great F2P weapons options, such as 3-star Slingshot.
  • Lumi is extremely cute.
  • Exceptional overworld utility that allows for instant ore mining and wildlife capture from a distance.

Cons

  • Restrictive teambuilding; limited primarily to Lunar-Crystallize teams requiring Hydro and Geo characters.
  • Opting to use her Elemental Burst, which is her source of teamwide healing, every rotation increases her Energy Recharge requirements and can slightly extend rotations.

Playstyles

Linnea is an off-field DPS and Lunar-Crystallize support whose role variation depends almost entirely on how she utilizes the different forms of her Elemental Skill. She provides off-field Geo application, Elemental Mastery buffs, Geo RES Shred, and teamwide healing.

Off-Field Sub DPS

Linnea’s standard playstyle uses the Tap Elemental Skill to summon Lumi in her Super Power Form for sustained off-field Geo application and consistent direct Lunar-Crystallize damage. This playstyle requires minimal field time, allowing for more rotation flexibility. Her Elemental Burst provides teamwide healing and conveniently resets Lumi’s duration without changing her attack form. Since her Burst deals no damage, players can use it every other rotation (or less) to save field time and reduce ER requirements, unless otherwise required (Furina).

Quickswap Nuke

For high front-loaded damage, Linnea’s quickswap playstyle involves repeatedly tapping her Elemental Skill for a nuke of direct Lunar-Crystallize damage (Ultimate Power Form). Following this, Lumi reverts to her slower Standard Power Form, which deals Geo damage rather than direct Lunar-Crystallize damage. This method excels during enemy vulnerability phases and short buff windows. Note that the nuke does not require triggering the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. There is also a short delay between tapping her Skill and the actual nuke, so swapping off Linnea immediately can result in losing on-field-specific buffs.

Talents

Level and Talent Priority

Skill > Character Level > Burst

Prioritize Linnea’s Elemental Skill, as it is her primary source of damage. Max Linnea’s damage and buffs by leveling her to level 90 for high Base DEF. Her Burst can be leveled for more healing, if required. Her Normal Attacks are unused in her standard off-field playstyles and can be skipped.

Talent Overview

Normal Attack
Normal Attack | Capture Protocol

Normal Attack
Performs up to 3 consecutive shots with a bow.

Charged Attack
Performs a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG.
While aiming, stone crystals will accumulate on the arrowhead. A fully charged crystalline arrow will deal Geo DMG.

Plunging Attack
Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Linnea’s Normal Attacks are irrelevant and are only used to proc Favonius. Her Charged Attacks are used to trigger her Exploration Passive.

Elemental Skill
Elemental Skill | Countermeasure: Lumi’s Battle Cry!

Adventure with Lumi! Depending on how you Tap, Lumi attacks in different forms.

Tap
Lumi strikes in a Super Power Form, attacking nearby enemies continuously, dealing AoE Geo DMG. If there are Moondrifts nearby, Lumi will also deal AoE Geo DMG to nearby enemies, which will be considered Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG.

Continuous Tapping
Time to show what we’re really capable of! After using her Elemental Skill, Linnea will feed Lumi sparkling gemstones when her Elemental Skill or Normal Attack is Tapped repeatedly. A full-bellied Lumi will strike in her Ultimate Power Form, dealing an especially powerful instance of AoE Geo DMG that is considered Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG, switching to Standard Power Form.
Additionally, tapping the Elemental Skill increases Linnea’s interruption resistance.

Lumi: Strike Forms
Lumi has three different Strike Forms.

Super Power Form
Lumi will use Pound-Pound Pummeler to attack nearby opponents continuously. Every attack will deal 2 instances of AoE Geo DMG.
If there are Moondrifts nearby, Lumi will alternate between Pound-Pound Pummeler and Heavy Overdrive Hammer to continuously attack nearby opponents . Heavy Overdrive Hammer will deal AoE Geo DMG which will be considered Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG.

Ultimate Power Form
Lumi will use the ultimate Million Ton Crush, dealing an especially powerful instance of AoE Geo DMG that is considered Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG, switching to Standard Power Form.

Standard Power Form
It might not be as flashy as the other forms, but it still packs a serious punch.
Lumi will use Pound-Pound Pummeler at longer intervals to attack nearby opponents continuously. Every attack will deal 2 instances of AoE Geo DMG., attacking nearby enemies continuously, dealing AoE Geo DMG. If there are Moondrifts nearby, Lumi will also deal AoE Geo DMG to nearby enemies, which will be considered Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG.

The core of Linnea’s kit. She summons her companion Lumi to follow the active character and deal off-field AoE Geo damage. This Skill dictates her playstyle and features two distinct activation methods depending on player input:

  • Tap (Super Power Form): This activation method summons Lumi to provide steady, off-field AoE Geo damage through “Pound-Pound Pummeler”. When Moondrifts are present, Lumi also inflicts AoE Geo damage that deals direct Lunar-Crystallize damage. This form is the optimal choice for a playstyle focused on reliable, sustained damage and constant reaction triggers.
  • 5 Tap (Ultimate Power Form): Linnea gains interruption resistance and feeds Lumi gemstones, triggering a massive AoE Geo nuke (“Million Ton Crush”), which is considered reaction Lunar-Crystallize damage. Afterwards, Lumi switches to Standard Power Form, where she continues to deal regular Geo damage but at significantly longer intervals and without the ability to trigger reaction Lunar-Crystallize damage. This form is optimal for quickswap or front-loaded burst windows, such as bypassing a boss’s invulnerability phase.
Elemental Burst
Elemental Burst | Memo: Survival Guide in Extreme Conditions

Even master adventurers need proper rest! Linnea summons Lumi to strike in Super Power Form, healing nearby party members. For a short duration, she will continuously heal nearby active party members based on Linnea’s DEF.
If Lumi is already on the field when Linnea unleashes Elemental Burst, Lumi’s active duration will be reset instead and her Strike Form will not change.

Linnea provides a tick of instant teamwide healing, followed by continuous healing for the active character over 12 seconds. Casting the Burst also summons Lumi in her Super Power Form.

Note: If Lumi is already on the field, casting Linnea’s Burst will reset her field duration without changing her current attack form. Because her Burst does not deal damage, you can safely skip using it if your team does not require healing, saving valuable rotation time and drastically lowering her Energy Recharge requirements.

Ascension 1 Passive
Ascension 1 Passive | Field Observation Notes

When Lumi is present on the field, the Geo RES of opponents near Lumi will decrease by 15%.

Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Linnea’s Elemental Skill Countermeasure: Lumi’s Battle Cry! and Elemental Burst Memo: Survival Guide in Extreme Conditions are enhanced. After summoning Lumi, the Geo RES of opponents near Lumi will be further decreased by 15%.

When Lumi is present on the field, she shreds nearby enemies’ Geo RES by 15%. This RES Shred doubles to 30% when the team is in Ascendant Gleam.

Ascension 4 Passive
Ascension 4 Passive | Universal Naturalist Archive

Linnea will increase the Elemental Mastery of certain characters in your party according to your current active character. Increase in Elemental Mastery is based on 5% of Linnea’s DEF. If your current active character:
Is a Moonsign character: Increase this character’s Elemental Mastery.
Is not a Moonsign character: Increase Linnea’s own Elemental Mastery.

Linnea grants an EM buff equal to 5% of her total DEF. This buff is distributed based on the active character: active Moonsign characters (e.g. Zibai) receive the EM buff directly to enhance their Elemental Reactions, while active non-Moonsign characters cause Linnea to receive the buff herself from off-field.

Moonsign Benediction Passive
Moonsign Benediction Passive | Habitat Survey

When a party member triggers a Hydro Crystallize reaction, it will be converted into the Lunar-Crystallize reaction, with every 100 DEF that Linnea has increasing Lunar-Crystallize’s Base DMG by 0.7%, up to a maximum of 14%.

Additionally, when Linnea is in the party, the party’s Moonsign will increase by 1 level.

When Linnea is in the party, she increases its Moonsign level by 1 and converts the Hydro Crystallize reaction into the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. She also increases the Base DMG of Lunar-Crystallize damage dealt by the whole team based on her DEF, with a maximum of 14% Base DMG Bonus at 2000 DEF.

Utility Passive
Utility Passive | Master Adventurer

When Linnea is not in combat, the charge time of her Aimed Shot is greatly decreased, and she will shoot an Ultra Convenient Quick Arrow instead. Different effects will occur depending on the targets hit:

  • Specific animals: Ultra Convenient Quick Arrow will be transformed into a special “Net” that can capture the essence and form of these animals, using them as a medium to manifest the animal’s physical form again. The “Net” can only be used for a limited number of times each week.
  • Ore veins used in forging: Linnea will dispatch Lumi, who will quickly strike at the ore marked by the Ultra Convenient Quick Arrow, then collect the dislodged ore. If Lumi is not on the field, Linnea will summon her for a short duration to help obtain the ore.

The DMG dealt to opponents by Linnea’s Ultra Convenient Quick Arrow is reduced to 20% of her original Charged Arrow. Additionally, after firing a certain number of Ultra Convenient Quick Arrows within a short period of time, Linnea needs to take a temporary break before she can continue using them.

This Passive offers exceptional overworld quality-of-life. Outside of combat, Linnea’s Aimed Shot charge time becomes practically instantaneous. Hitting specific wildlife captures them automatically (functioning exactly like an Omni-Ubiquity Net), and shooting ore veins will dispatch Lumi to instantly shatter the rocks and collect the drops from a distance.

Constellations

Constellation 1
Constellation 1 | Provisional Classification

When unleashing Elemental Skill Countermeasure: Lumi’s Battle Cry!, or when triggering Moondrift Harmony, Linnea gains 6 stacks of the Field Catalog effect for 10s. Max 18 stacks. When nearby party members deal Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG, consume 1 stack of Field Catalog to increase the DMG dealt. The increase in DMG is equal to 75% of Linnea’s DEF.

Additionally, when Lumi uses Million Ton Crush in her Ultimate Power Form, Linnea can consume up to 5 stacks of Field Catalog. Each stack will increase the DMG dealt by 150% of Linnea’s DEF.

This Constellation grants “Field Catalog” stacks upon using Linnea’s Elemental Skill or triggering Moondrift Harmony. This provides a significant Additive Base DMG Bonus to party members whenever they deal Lunar-Crystallize damage. For her personal damage, it massively boosts her quickswap nuke potential by allowing Million Ton Crush to consume up to 5 stacks, increasing its damage by 150% of her DEF per stack.

Constellation 2
Constellation 2 | Tidings of Joy and Sorrow

Within 8s after triggering Moondrift Harmony, all Hydro and Geo party members have their CRIT DMG increased by 40%. Additionally, when Lumi uses Million Ton Crush in her Ultimate Power Form, the CRIT DMG of that attack increases by an additional 150%.

Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: When Lumi uses Heavy Overdrive Hammer in her Super Power Form, or when she uses Million Ton Crush in her Ultimate Power Form, an instance of Moondrift Harmony will be triggered. For this instance of Moondrift Harmony, all Hydro and Geo characters in the party will be considered to have applied their Elements in the reaction.

This is Linnea’s most impactful Constellation and a highly recommended stopping point. It grants all Hydro and Geo party members a massive 40% CRIT DMG increase for 8s after triggering Moondrift Harmony. Furthermore, it automatically triggers Harmony during Lumi’s attacks and provides Million Ton Crush an additional 150% CRIT DMG, significantly raising her front-loaded burst ceiling. Whenever Lumi triggers direct Lunar-Crystallize reaction damage through her Super Power Form attack intervals or her repeated Tap activation, she triggers an additional Moondrift Harmony, all Hydro and Geo characters in the party will be considered to have applied their Elements in the reaction.

Constellation 3
Constellation 3 | Eventful Log Page

Increases the Level of Countermeasure: Lumi’s Battle Cry! by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Increases Linnea’s Elemental Skill Talent level by 3. This provides a straightforward increase to Linnea’s personal damage, as her Skill is her only source of off-field damage.

Constellation 4
Constellation 4 | Expert Instinct

Within 5s after Moondrift Harmony is triggered, increase the DEF of Linnea and your current active character by 25% respectively. When Linnea is on field, the DEF-increasing effect can be stacked.

This constellation provides a 25% DEF buff to both Linnea and the active character for 5s following a Moondrift Harmony trigger, and Linnea herself can receive both these effects at once. This is an excellent buff when paired with DEF-scaling on-field characters like Zibai, Noelle, or Itto.

Constellation 5
Constellation 5 | Fairyland’s Farewell Gift

Elemental Burst Memo: Survival Guide in Extreme Conditions increases by 3 Levels.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Increases Linnea’s Elemental Burst Talent level by 3. It isn’t the most useful since it only increases the healing from her Burst, but it is nonetheless appreciated in teams that use it.

Constellation 6
Constellation 6 | Golden Beagle’s Dream

The effects of the Constellation, Provisional Classification, are enhanced: When unleashing Elemental Skill Countermeasure: Lumi’s Battle Cry!, or when triggering Moondrift Harmony, Linnea will directly gain the maximum number of Field Catalog stacks. When consuming Field Catalog, consume twice the original number of stacks, such that the increase in DMG will be boosted to 150% of the original value.

Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG dealt by nearby party members is elevated by 25%.

This Constellation provides a substantial increase to both Linnea’s personal damage and her supportive capabilities. It permanently elevates the party’s Lunar-Crystallize Reaction damage by 25% and significantly improves the Additive Base DMG Bonus granted to teammates who consume Field Catalog (C1) stacks. In addition, it instantly grants the maximum number of Field Catalog stacks and boosts their consumption value to 150%, which enables a hypercarry playstyle with a considerably higher damage ceiling.

ETapping her Skill summons Lumi in her Super Power Form for sustained off-field Geo application and continuous Lunar-Crystallize damage. Her Burst can optionally be cast to provide teamwide healing when needed and reset Lumi’s duration.
5[E]Tap Linnea’s Skill repeatedly to trigger the “Million Ton Crush” for a massive burst of damage. This is ideal for clearing boss phases or maximizing tight buff windows, though it leaves her in a slower attack state without Lunar-Crystallize hits afterward.

Mechanics

Linnea’s Elemental Skill companion, Lumi, operates in three distinct forms depending on how the Skill is cast:

Super Power Form (Tap E): Linnea’s standard and most consistent off-field state. Lumi hits with the “Heavy Overdrive Hammer” (the Lunar-Crystallize hit) around once per 5 seconds. At the same time, around once every 2 seconds,  Lumi will double-hit with the “Pound-Pound Pummeler” — each instance of these double hits will apply Geo once.

Ultimate Power Form (Repeated Tap E / Nuke): Linnea feeds Lumi to unleash a massive, front-loaded instance of reaction Lunar-Crystallize damage (the “Million Ton Crush”). It is highly recommended to use this form if your team’s rotation length allows for the slightly longer field time. Because the nuke is dealt while Linnea is on-field, it allows her to benefit from on-field-only buffs, such as her own Ascension 4 EM buff and Illuga’s Nightingale’s Song. Additionally, equipment passives like the 4pc Aubade of Morningstar and Moon set and her signature weapon properly apply to this nuke even on the very first rotation.

Normal Power Form: The baseline state Lumi enters after executing the Ultimate Power Form nuke. In this form, she attacks at slower intervals and does not deal Lunar-Crystallize damage. You should generally avoid lingering in this state by resetting her duration with Linnea’s Burst or starting a new rotation.

Lunar-Crystallize contributes its own damage via Moondrifts, which count as constructs and can therefore be interacted with as such by certain characters (e.g. Zhongli, Chiori). For a more comprehensive breakdown of how this reaction’s damage is calculated across multiple Elemental triggers, please refer to the Lunar Reaction Guide.

Artifacts

ER Requirements

Burst Every Rotation170–185%
Burst When Available100%

It is generally not recommended to Burst every rotation on Linnea unless you strictly need the teamwide healing, such as running her in Furina teams. Since her Burst deals zero damage and is purely for defensive utility, overinvesting in ER often results in a significant loss of personal damage from DEF and CRIT stats.

If your team requires consistent healing to maintain passives (like Harbinger of Dawn), aim for the ranges in the table above. Note that each additional Favonius weapon proc in the rotation reduces her ER requirements by approximately 15-20%.

Use the Energy Recharge Calculator to determine exact requirements for your team and rotation.  For more details on how Favonius weapons will affect your team, please use Ac1d’s Favonius Mastersheet.

Artifact Stats

Sands

Goblet

Circlet
DEF%DEF%CRIT ≥ DEF%

Stat Priority: ER (until requirement) > CRIT > DEF% > EM

A DEF% Goblet is strongly recommended over a Geo DMG Bonus Goblet, as her teamwide healing, direct Lunar-Crystallize damage, Elemental Mastery buff, and Lunar-Crystallize Base DMG scaling all rely entirely on her total DEF.

Linnea aims to reach at least 2,000 DEF to maximize the 14% Lunar-Crystallize Base DMG buff from her Moonsign Benediction Passive. Running DEF% on both the Sands and Goblet ensures she reaches this threshold easily and also boosts her direct Lunar-Crystallize damage. The value of DEF% stats increases drastically with Linnea’s Constellations.

For substats, focus heavily on CRIT and DEF%. Energy Recharge is only necessary if you are actively opting to use her Elemental Burst every rotation; if you are skipping her Burst to save field time, you can safely ignore ER.

Artifact Sets

Hover over artifact images for more information.

4pc Husk of Opulent Dreams
Husk is Linnea’s general best-in-slot option, providing her with copious amounts of DEF%, boosting her A4 EM buff. At C1+, Husk’s DEF% scaling makes it the top choice for personal damage and team utility.

4pc Aubade of Morningstar and Moon (Aubade)
Aubade is a good option to buff Linnea’s Lunar-Crystallize damage. Since she is usually played in teams with another Nod-Krai character, she can effortlessly maintain the full 60% Lunar Reaction DMG Bonus while remaining off-field.

4pc Silken Moon’s Serenade (SMS)
Linnea’s premier team-buffing set. If no other teammate can equip this, she can hold it to provide the party with up to 120 Elemental Mastery and a Lunar Reaction DMG Bonus, sacrificing some personal damage to significantly boost teammates’ (Lunar) reaction output.

4pc Instructor
A 4-star option that provides a valuable 120 EM team buff upon reaction, enhancing Lunar-Crystallize damage. However, its 4-star stat cap limits Linnea’s DEF and CRIT, which hinders her Lunar-Crystallize Base DMG buff, A4 EM Passive, and personal damage. While usable, it is generally recommended to use a set listed above.

4pc Tenacity of the Millelith (TotM)
A very situational support option. Lumi’s continuous off-field attacks can easily maintain the set’s 20% ATK buff. However, this set is only useful when supporting ATK-scaling carries (such as Navia and Ningguang) are heavily invested in and do the majority of the team’s damage.

2pc Mixed Sets (DEF% / EM / ER%)
Two-piece combinations granting DEF%, EM, or ER% serve as strong, cost-effective transitional options while you are farming for optimal 4-piece sets.

Weapons

Hover over weapon images for more information.

Golden Frostbound Oath
Linnea’s signature weapon is her undisputed best-in-slot, providing a massive CRIT DMG and valuable DEF increase. Its passive perfectly complements her kit, granting a large Geo and Lunar-Crystallize DMG Bonus to herself while buffing the entire team whenever Moondrifts are nearby. It is the best choice for maximizing both her personal damage and team utility.

Aqua Simulacra
Aqua Simulacra is her second-best option for personal damage. An exceptional stat stick, it provides a huge amount of CRIT DMG and a Universal DMG Bonus that remains active while she is off-field. Note that it is not recommended to pull Aqua Simulacra, or any other 5-star weapon that isn’t her signature, as the 3-star Slingshot is on par with all of them.

Elegy for the End
This premium support choice addresses her ER requirements, permitting a greater focus on DEF and CRIT substats. While the ATK buff benefits only a limited number of characters (e.g. Ningguang, Navia), the teamwide EM bonus is highly effective at boosting the team’s Lunar-Crystallize reaction damage.

Other 5★ CRIT Bows
Weapons like Hunter’s Path, Polar Star, and Skyward Harp are decent stat sticks due to their CRIT values. However, because their passives are wasted on Linnea, they do not significantly outperform the 3-star Slingshot and are generally not recommended to pull specifically for her.

Slingshot
Best F2P option for personal damage. Its CRIT Rate secondary stat is highly valuable, and because Linnea scales with DEF, the 3-star weapon’s low Base ATK is irrelevant.

Snare Hook
This Nod-Krai craftable weapon provides Energy Recharge and a passive that increases EM after triggering an Elemental Reaction, making it a competitive baseline when Energy Recharge is needed.

Favonius Warbow
Favonius Warbow is a good choice if other teammates need Energy, or if Linnea is being used in teams where she needs to Burst consistently.

Teambuilding

  • Linnea’s primary team building revolves heavily around the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. As such, her core composition structure generally requires at least one Hydro applier to trigger the reaction and another Geo character for more Geo application.
  • Since the Moondrifts left behind by Lunar-Crystallize reactions are considered Geo Constructs, Linnea has inherent synergy with characters who interact with or benefit from Geo Constructs (e.g. Chiori, Zhongli).
  • Linnea provides teamwide healing with her Burst, making her an excellent pairing for Furina, as she can easily offset the HP drain mechanic without requiring a dedicated healer slot.

Teammates

Notable Hydro Teammates

A Hydro character is mandatory for Linnea’s full potential, as they establish the Hydro aura necessary to trigger the Lunar-Crystallize reaction.

Columbina ★
The premier Hydro teammate and core enabler for Lunar-Crystallize. She provides consistent off-field Hydro application, elevates the team’s Lunar Reaction damage, and can hold 4pc SMS or Aubade to buff teams or her own damage. She can also wield Prototype Amber if the team requires additional healing.

Furina
An exceptional universal buffer. Her massive teamwide DMG% buff is highly valuable, and Linnea’s teamwide healing perfectly helps in stacking Fanfare for Furina. Note that Furina’s buff will not affect Lunar damage, such as reaction Lunar-Crystallize damage or Zibai’s direct Lunar-Crystallize hits.

Aino
A solid F2P-friendly Hydro option. As a Moonsign character, she effortlessly enables Ascendant Gleam and can hold SMS. Her C1 provides EM, and her C6 gives a Lunar Reaction DMG Bonus to the active character.

Xingqiu / Yelan
Standard off-field Hydro appliers. Yelan provides a ramping DMG Bonus and high personal damage, while Xingqiu offers damage reduction and interruption resistance. Note that both require the on-field character to use Normal Attacks to trigger their coordinated strikes.

Kokomi / Sigewinne
These Hydro appliers maintain a Hydro aura for Lunar-Crystallize. However, Linnea’s Burst already provides teamwide healing, making dedicated Hydro healers redundant and inefficient for overall team DPS. Offensive alternatives like Columbina, Furina, or Yelan are preferred. If used, Kokomi can buff ATK-scaling carries with TotM and TTDS, while Sigewinne provides a minor Skill DMG Bonus.

Notable Geo Teammates

A second Geo teammate is highly recommended to apply more Geo and activate Geo Resonance, providing a DMG Bonus and additional Geo RES Shred, along with their own utility such as buffs or personal damage.

Zibai ★
The premier on-field DPS for Linnea. As a dedicated Lunar-Crystallize hypercarry, Zibai possesses inherent synergy with the reaction and fully capitalizes on Linnea’s RES Shred and EM buffs. Linnea’s healing is also useful in maintaining Harbinger of Dawn’s passive.

Navia
Navia utilizes the Lunar-Crystallize reactions as ammunition for her Elemental Skill (up to 1 per second), dealing massive front-loaded shotgun damage that capitalizes heavily on Linnea’s RES Shred, along with her own personal damage and other utility.

Illuga
A premier support specifically for Zibai, particularly at C2+. He provides a massive Additive Base DMG Bonus, Elemental Mastery, and teamwide CRIT buffs. He fits perfectly alongside Linnea to hyper-buff Zibai.

Gorou (C6)
A strong alternative support to Illuga. He provides Flat DEF, DEF%, Geo DMG Bonus, and CRIT DMG buffs at C6 that stack flawlessly with Linnea’s own kit. In Zibai teams, C6 Gorou performs similarly to a pre-C4 Illuga.

Zhongli
Provides a resilient shield and Universal RES Shred. His Stone Steles can resonate with Lunar-Crystallize Moondrifts, increasing his Geo application and resonance damage to trigger more Lunar-Crystallize reactions.

Chiori
Because Moondrifts count as Geo Constructs, Chiori will instantly summon both of her Tamoto dolls from her Elemental Skill, even at C0, allowing her to maximize her off-field damage output while taking minimal field time.

Noelle/Itto
Linnea acts as a strong off-field damage dealer for Noelle and Arataki Itto. She buffs their personal damage output through her innate Geo RES Shred, and can further amplify their damage with the teamwide buffs provided by her signature weapon.

Albedo

Geo Traveler

Kachina

Ningguang

Flex

Players can play shielders or healers whose Elemental Application does not inhibit Lunar-Crystallize uptime.

Ineffa
Ineffa provides consistent off-field damage and a high-uptime shield that grants valuable interruption resistance for on-field characters. Her well-paced Electro application ensures she does not overwhelm the Hydro aura required to maintain consistent Lunar-Crystallize reactions.

Example Teams

This is not a comprehensive list of teams. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect its power level.

Zibai — Linnea — Columbina — Gorou/Illuga

This premium team offers Zibai’s highest single-target damage ceiling by dedicating all buffs to Zibai as a Lunar-Crystallize hypercarry. Linnea provides Geo RES Shred, teamwide healing, and DEF-scaling EM buffs, along with her own off-field damage. Illuga is preferred if he is C6 due to his strong CRIT buffs and Nightingale’s Song stacks from his Burst. Otherwise, C6 Gorou is a good alternative, as he can buff both Zibai and Linnea.

Sample Rotation (Illuga)
Columbina E (Q)1 > Linnea E / Q2 > Illuga Q E > Zibai combo

1 If available
2 If healing is needed

Sample Rotation (Gorou)
Columbina E (Q)1 > Linnea E / Q2 Gorou EQ > Zibai combo

1 If available
2 If healing is needed

Linnea — Navia — Columbina — Furina

This team layers Navia’s front-loaded Skill damage with constant Lunar-Crystallize procs and Furina’s teamwide buff. Linnea slots in this team nicely, providing the necessary teamwide healing to maintain Furina’s Fanfare stacks while giving Geo RES Shred and buffing Lunar-Crystallize.

Note that Navia uses her Tap Skill in Lunar-Crystallize teams since there are no shards to gather with her Hold Skill.

Sample Rotation
(Linnea E)1 > Furina ED Q > Linnea Q > Columbina E Q > Navia Q tE 2[N2D] N2 > Furina N22 > Navia tE 2[N2D] N2 (tE)3

1 First rotation
2 To proc Favonius; requires Refinement 4+
3 If available

Arataki Itto — Gorou — Linnea — Columbina

Linnea acts as a strong off-field sub-DPS and sustain for Arataki Itto. She buffs his personal damage output through her innate Geo RES Shred. She can also benefit from Gorou’s buffs to boost her own damage. She also enables Lunar-Crystallize to deal additional damage and supplement Itto’s output.

Sample Rotation
Columbina E (Q)1 > Gorou EQ > Linnea 5[E](Q)2 > Itto combo

1 If available
2 If healing is needed

Linnea — Nefer — Lauma — Columbina

Linnea serves as a strong fourth-slot sustain and utility option for Nefer, especially in teams lacking premium defensive units. While Lauma and Columbina handle core Lunar-Bloom interactions, Linnea provides consistent teamwide healing and a significant Elemental Mastery buff for Nefer.

Due to Nefer’s heavy Dendro application overwhelming the Hydro aura, Linnea will not trigger Lunar-Crystallize here. As a result, she should focus on using her Ultimate Power Form (nuke) to quickly deal damage before swapping back to Nefer.

Sample Rotation
(Nefer N1)¹ > Columbina E Q > Linnea 5[E]Q2  > Lauma (N1)¹ hEQ > Nefer E 3[CD] E 3[CD] (Q)²

¹ First rotation only, for Verdant Dew stacking
² If healing is needed

Limited Roster Alternatives

These teams are meant for newer players whose limited roster prevents them from using the teams above; as such, the teams below result in lower damage output.

Linnea — Noelle — Aino — Geo Traveler / Gorou

This team focuses on Noelle’s personal damage, with Linnea as an off-field DPS and enabling Lunar-Crystallize. Geo Traveler is a freely accessible option who provides a CRIT Rate buff inside their Burst radius and deals fine personal damage, but Gorou (especially with his C6) provides stronger buffs to Noelle’s personal damage and also buffs Linnea’s damage.

Sample Rotation (Traveler)
Linnea E > Aino EQ > Traveler Q shE > Noelle combo > Traveler shE > Noelle combo

Sample Rotation (Gorou)
Linnea E > Aino EQ > Gorou EQ > Noelle combo
